Syria – Sovereignty, Territorial Integrity and Syrian Republic Right

Padmini Arhant

United States along with western and middle eastern allies invaded Syria in 2011 through terror deployment. Since then the terror sponsors have subject Syria to brutal violence, constant shelling, air strikes, use of chemical and biological weapons via terror networks much to the world’s horror and dismay.  The U.S. and allies’ involvement enabled evolution of various terror factions from al Qaeda becoming al Nusra Front, Daesh, Takfiri to The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and lately termed the Islamic State (IS) responsible for thousands of deaths and millions forced into refugee status.

United States training and funding of terror groups from the beginning in 2011 along with special forces on the grounds in Syria accompanied by repeat demand for Syrian electorate elected President Bashar Al Assad and government ouster by predecessor Barack Obama fueled the conflict disrupting positive outcome in any peace accord. The incumbent President Donald Trump administration’s parallel strategy to maintain U.S. troops in Syria and echoing previous administration’s rhetoric on removal of Syrian President Bashar Al Assad, family and government is the standard U.S. foreign policy dictated by forces barely known to the American public or the global audience.

United States occupation of foreign land in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria or anywhere in the world is the external forces devised foreign policy for global dominance despite repeat failures and phenomenal economic liability endured by U.S. tax payers and the people of target nations thus far. The reckless engagement rejecting reality and creating perpetual chaos in foreign land under false pretexts is proved dangerous, callous and counterproductive and yet the architects and catalysts behind the trend refuse to learn lesson from the experience.

While United States forcing government shut down on citizens during every administration and raising the concern for border security as a priority with the border wall exceeding the Great Wall of China or the past century Berlin Wall to prevent the flow of unarmed undocumented immigrants into U.S. territory,

The U.S. administrations regardless of political affiliation as left or right violating sovereignty and territorial integrity of foreign nations with armed terrorists and U.S. troops witnessed in Syria is the major hypocrisy in U.S. foreign policy.

United States and citizens have never experienced any threats from these occupied nations like Syria whatsoever when the reverse is the case with Syria, Iraq and Libya transformed into terror haven to prolong occupation and armed confrontation ignoring massive casualties and unending suffering for millions in the region.

The new dimension in Syrian crisis is the formation of alternative government in Syrian land with utter disregard for Syrian sovereignty and republic right. The U.S. role in northern Syria crafting a border force comprising Syrian Kurds initially claiming to defeat their own terror faction IS in Raqqa has catapulted the Turkish-Kurdish opposition along the Syrian border with Turkey.

Turkey having been instrumental in Syrian massacre from the start under the leadership of former Prime Minister turned President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the NATO ally crying foul and using the opportunity to infiltrate Syria with Turkish ground troops is all clear in the intent to Balkanize Syria into statelets as they unsuccessfully tried with Iraq in the creation of Kurdistan in northern Iraq that had to be ultimately rescued from ISIL by Iraq national forces in the U.S. and  allies generated quagmire in the Middle East replicated wherever their footprints are evident.

There is also shared interest among U.S. foreign policy designers overwhelmingly favoring allies like Israel and Saudi Arabia wish lists than humanitarian goals in their aggression against Yemen, Syria, Libya, Iraq and the extension of settlement activities in occupied Palestine. Again, it is no secret the systemic targeting of nations in the Middle East is to deter Iran’s influence and impose dominion republic status on these countries and citizens submitting to globalists agenda.

As a result, Syria is today occupied by foreign forces like United States and coalition besides terror outfits representing their western and middle eastern sponsors cause. Furthermore, Syria has been driven into inviting Russian intervention to combat international assault on all sides of this small nonetheless resilient nation leading to Russian operated Syrian Khmeimim Air base in the coastal city Latakia in Hmeimim, Syria in addition to the Russian naval base in Tartus on the Mediterranean coast of Syria.

There appears to be no sense of reasoning and recognition among them to abandon flawed policies and disastrous means aimed at regime change and reconfiguration of geopolitical landscape to suit their desire and insidious ambition in the name of defeating terror they produced, nurtured and directed to kill, terrorize and maim thousands of innocent lives in Syria and across the borders in the region.

These individuals in the position of power and authority are granted impunity on crimes against humanity. Accordingly, they accept no responsibility on direct authorization and complicity in genocide of population in foreign land for they represent the global syndicate rooted in self and vested interests at the expense of vast majority regarded vulnerable and their lives dispensable.

Where are the ideas and strategies flowing from on fragmentation and conversion of sovereign nations into vassal states in the revival of medieval feudalism?

Well, the representation is rather diverse varying from government to institutions, think tanks and prominent academia as well as organizations with personal as well as collective aspirations to maintain status quo in denying ordinary people freedom, basic rights, economic opportunity and social justice although their lectures and speeches are deceptively misleading and misguiding in every format.

Their motto is constant mayhem and discord worldwide boosting arms sales to all factions indiscriminately and promoting eugenics with divisive racial, religion and class warfare in society under the guise of democracy and non-sectarianism when their actions irrefutably confirm otherwise.

Here is the expressed opinion in the article published on December 25th, 2017 titled Opinion:

One way to counter Iran’s aggression? Change the map of the Middle East from the author Michael Makovsky, the President and CEO of the Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA) and a former Pentagon official advocating among many other indulgence, the major proposals are inciting political unrest and partitioning of States into separate entity.

The excerpt of this article premised on offensive strategy is presented here with full length available in the link provided below.

One way to counter Iran’s aggression? Change the map of the Middle East from the author Michael Makovsky, the President and CEO of the Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA) and a former Pentagon official

“Iran has taken advantage of ISIS’ crumbling caliphate to increasingly consolidate control over Syria and Iran, as it dominates their capitals and those of Lebanon and Yemen. It has effectively established a land bridge from Tehran to Beirut.

Reversing this strategic threat requires continued U.S. military presence and military aid to local forces in Syria and Iraq, and greater support for our regional allies, such as Israel and Jordan, who must contain the provocative actions of Iran and its proxies. But this defensive posture will not suffice even to contain Iran let alone transform its hegemonic trajectory.

Instead, we should draw from Ronald Reagan, who eschewed a defensive posture and pursued an offensive strategy to undermine the Soviet Union that included supporting indigenous anti-communist insurgents around the globe. We should pursue the same offensive strategy to roll back Iran’s regional hegemony.

We should recognize that maintaining Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen in their existing forms is unnatural and serves Iran’s interests. There is nothing sacred about these countries’ borders, which seem to have been drawn by a drunk and blindfolded cartographer. Indeed, in totally disregarding these borders, ISIS and Iran both have already demonstrated their anachronism and irrelevance.

These countries are not nation-states as Americans understand them but post-WWI artificial constructs, mostly created out of the ashes of the Ottoman Empire in a colossally failed experiment by international leaders. With their deep ethno-sectarian fissures, these countries have either been held together by a strong authoritarian hand or suffered sectarian carnage.

Indeed, the principal vulnerability of Iran’s regional strategy is its dependence on brutal regimes to rule lands riven by ethno-sectarian fissures. The United States should exploit this vulnerability by supporting those forces in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen that oppose Iran’s domination and seek greater self-determination or independence from the capitals. The result could be transforming these failed states into loose confederations or new countries with more borders that more naturally conform along sectarian lines.”

————————————————————————————————————————————————-

Not that such attempts have not been experimented before for exerting overt control as they did with Sudan in 2012 bifurcating the oil rich African country into South Sudan plunging the newly formed fragile state into worst political and humanitarian turmoil. As cited above in this blogpost they carved northern Iraq with oil reserves as Kurdistan granting autonomy with self-government obviously bowing to oligarchy and globalists expectations on the economic benefits related to oil revenue.

I leave with the reminder to elements and groups retaining twentieth century mindset in perpetrating persistent violence through terrorism, troops and tensions to achieve unattainable objectives on regional and global hegemony verifiably futile with severe blowback on the sources unable to sustain imprudent doctrine and legacy.

Syria is a sovereign nation with elected government and any changes to Syria’s present and future is entirely and exclusively Syrian citizens right representing the nation as the republic barring any regional and foreign intrusion in the determination of Syrian fate.

The same principle would apply to nations dealing with globalists interventions endorsed and executed by UNSC via economic sanctions crippling the target nations’ economy to stymie effective resistance against hegemonic gains.

I convey my best wishes to Syria in ending the conflict and securing independence from regional and foreign pursuits.

Thank you.

Power – Definition and Interpretation

Power – Definition and Interpretation

Padmini Arhant

I would like to discuss on the contemporary events with focus on power. The verbal presentation will follow shortly.

Power is enticing prompting actions not favorable to many citizens depriving them the individual rights and freedom to live a normal life.

When power is concentrated among few members reining control over the destiny of more than seven billion lives, there are no considerations for people and issues affected by their decisions.

The policy premised on vested interests slight ordinary citizens plight even though they have power and wealth because of these citizens voting them to office, employees in work force and average consumers enabling business success and profitability. In general, the lives of the powerful and influential are dependent on the hard work of the people who are rarely acknowledged as the back bone of the industry and society at large.

Then there are those asserting as Royals whose existence and extravagant lifestyle over generations is paid for and supported by none other than ordinary people labor and service.

How does one interpret power?

In a democracy, power is expected to be in public domain i.e. government of the people, by the people and for the people. When representation in government is shifted from constituents to campaign donors, lobbyists and external demands, the system is subjugated to political ambitions and vested interests. The pledge of allegiance to campaign financiers and ideologues remaining the priority, the electorate needs often neglected or discounted to benefit the bidders in election campaign and special interests.

As for the disenfranchised, less fortunate and isolated demography there is no hope for they are expected to defend themselves in the polarized world with money purchasing power and fame.

Power is worthless and weak when used for intimidation, harassment and elimination of lives being the norm with no courage to accept responsibility. Those fearing the loss of own life and the powerful in particular traveling in bullet proof motorcade flanked with security personnel uninhibited in authorizing the killing of innocent and unarmed citizens in domestic and foreign shores is the irony.

The preference to harm anyone they do not agree with or find them inconvenient is cowardly and adapting the misuse of power reveals the state of mind and insecurity. At such time, the enemy within overwhelm them prohibiting the sense in identifying self as the primary problem.

United States House of Congress passing the legislation yesterday i.e. December 6th, 2017 on gun laws relaxing gun regulations and granting those with permits to freely carry concealed weapons as well as legally travel with firearms to other states obliging gun lobbyist National Rifle Association again clarifies the care and concern or the lack thereof for security of the population they are supposed to protect in public office.

The bill passed with majority Republican and six democrats votes are extremely thoughtful to say the least given the statistics in gun violence and now United States gun laws promoting mass murder in main street. The voluntary legislation on gun laws is congressional authorization to carry assault weapons threatening the lives of people falling prey to shooting rampage evidenced in American gun violence up until now.

The Congressional measure loosening gun restrictions indicative of arming citizens supposedly to fend for themselves in the otherwise alarming gun ownership.

Does this mean the process is intended to displace law enforcement personnel i.e. the police meant to safeguard citizenry?

Not to mention risking the lives of not only unarmed civilians but also police in serious crime scenes. Those who voted for this bill are expecting every individual to be armed not realizing the effects translated into shooting themselves on their foot with prevalent gun incidents not sparing congress members as well.

When folly reigns human character, wisdom is unheeded much to self-detriment.

This is an example of power exercised to exacerbate issues endangering public safety and legislators seeking prospects to extend term in office.

Whenever the public office is transformed into a platform to exert authority ignoring consequences, the office bearer has no credibility and not suitable to represent the state and the nation anymore.

The latest move declaring Jerusalem as Israel’s capital is abuse of office of the Presidency with little or no regard for other citizens’ rights and blatant violation of ethics denying indigenous Palestinians due legitimacy and sovereign status they are entitled to in the relentless land grab by occupiers.

Anything obtained and achieved through aggression and underhanded tactics are bound to be subject to endless turmoil and never provide satisfaction to those involved due to illegitimate claim leaving them bereft of everything in possession. In the constant motion to gain others share of property and rights, the deterioration in human value among them inevitably defines the ill-fate.

As I have stated earlier, greed, hubris and prejudice consume human soul and anyone affected by these qualities unable to control excess desire and hatred eventually succumb to adverse outcome.

Life is an opportunity to learn and evolve into worthy beings not wither like autumn leaves covered in dust and swept away by the wind.

Finally, I reiterate the previous statement on the unilateral recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital is null and void. Jerusalem is a holy city for inhabitants of other faiths as well and accordingly their consensus on the sensitive matter is relevant. The established fact on East Jerusalem al-Quds as Palestinian capital remains valid. That being said, the arbitrary declaration of entire Jerusalem as Israel’s domain is irresponsible and illegal.

Power is powerful in spreading peace not violence, saving lives not causing destruction and exemplifying fairness and equality not bias and discrimination.

Thank you.

Unilateral Recognition of Jerusalem is Null and Void

Unilateral Recognition of Jerusalem is Null and Void

Padmini Arhant

The declaration and recognition of Jerusalem by embattled President Donald J Trump under investigation on Russia matter is null and void. The gesture further confirms the office of Presidency of the United States subjugated to personal volition and political prospects to appease minority groups rather than maintaining integrity and sovereignty of the nation it is expected to serve besides adherence to international law and agreement of the parties affected in the reckless decision.

The politics of arrogance and vengeance unheeding wisdom and rationality is the ominous sign of the beginning of the end of self-destructive cause and representation. None other than history is testament to the fact.

Anything carried out in deliberate motive to hurt innocent lives and strengthen oppression is an imminent collapse of syndicate desperate to dissolve.

The defiance to accept reality and reason is an invitation to disaster witnessed throughout world events and lately in the demise of Yemen’s ex-President Ali Abdullah Saleh who could have survived and experienced positive developments in his country had he not been complicit in treason, terror sponsoring and massive destruction of lives and his country’s future.

Even otherwise, in denying others rights to live in freedom the burden of guilt while living far outweighs death in the self-inflicted punishment for those presumptuously embarked on misguided mission.

The lessons in history and life are for mankind to learn and prevent catastrophe prior to occurrence and not be the source and catalysts for human suffering as there are consequences to all actions ultimately serving as reminder for those who are responsible.

Thank you.

Unilateral Declaration of Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital

Padmini Arhant

U.S. Presidency Unilateral Declaration of Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital is Illegitimate and provocative.

Jerusalem, the city regarded holy for three religions viz. Islam, Christianity and Judaism is sensitive to unnecessary political and arbitrary decisions that could exacerbate the decades old unresolved Middle East peace process.

The incumbent U.S. administration preparation to announce Jerusalem as Israel’s capital is irresponsible and illegitimate. The cavalier approach ignores the native population i.e. Palestinians rights and interest especially with Al-Aqsa mosque situated in the Old City of Jerusalem – i.e. East Jerusalem Al-Quds stated to be Palestinian capital.

The current administration involvement in foreign affairs in Syria, Yemen, Korean Peninsula and now in Palestine is egregious without any concern for others legitimacy notwithstanding regional and global impact. The White house actions on foreign issues appears to deflect public attention from ongoing Russia probe and sexual allegations that were previously acknowledged with an apology are at present denied raising credibility problems at the executive level.

The Palestinian statehood remaining unsolved, any steps related to common territories in Palestine are unwise and unsustainable.

On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu currently under criminal investigation on corruption charges introduced a bill aimed at protecting self against prosecution, public outcry and possible resignation from office. The move has angered citizens leading to massive protest in the latest March of Shame that had tens of thousands of citizens demanding the withdrawal of undemocratic bill with a message for the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to hold himself accountable on graft accusations.

Understandably, the leaderships in Israel and United States confronted with domestic pressure on personal crisis are seeking to divert focus from critical ethical matter that could potentially cost their jobs.

The watershed moments for both administrations in Israel and United States respectively prompting them to target Jerusalem in the hope to evade accountability on individual matter.

Jerusalem is the epicenter for people of different faiths with holy sites representing the specific religions.

President Donald Trump’s impending unilateral declaration of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital against domestic and international will is counterproductive.

The policy lacking in prudence would contribute to imminent violence providing opportunity for ISIS recruitment of disenchanted and frustrated segments in global society.

Instead United States leadership advising Israeli government to heed international law and respect global appeal for recognition of Palestinian statehood based on pre 1967 territorial boundaries with permanent suspension of settlement activities in West Bank and East Jerusalem would demonstrate sincere commitment to peaceful resolution of disputes in the Mideast and worldwide.

Anything to the contrary like the proposal to claim Jerusalem as Israel’s capital would have prolonged and painful ramifications best averted in the interest of all.

Furthermore, Israeli authorities’ seizure of entire Jerusalem in addition to occupied Palestine territories that are already condemned internationally would only isolate Israel and cause serious economic setbacks even without sanctions.  Alternatively, the boycott divestment sanctions (BDS) movement could gain more momentum against Israel upon defiant expansion and occupation.

Israeli leadership addressing domestic issues and accepting responsibility on ongoing events is important to allay citizens anxiety on government corruption and poor performance.

United States expending time and resources in improving American image and position shifting from interventional status to reliable intermediary dedicated to diplomacy and meaningful dialogue resulting in positive outcome for all relevant sides would earn trust and confidence among nations near and afar.

The situation is a clarion call for international approval on Palestinian state in accordance with humanitarian law on right to homeland and individual freedom – the inalienable right of all beings in the world.

Thank you.

Iran Nuclear Deal

October 17, 2017

Iran Nuclear Deal

Padmini Arhant

The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) between Iran, P5+1 and EU is regarded firm agreement in the backdrop of Iran declared a nation having never attacked any other country in the world.

Iran’s history extends into Central Asia and Indian subcontinent. Nader Shah from Persia invasion of Delhi, India in 1739 and jewels from the famous peacock throne along with massive treasure plundered at that time is documented episode.

Persia now known as Iran subject to imperialist backed monarchy headed by Shah of Iran Mohammad Reza Pahlavi later overthrown in Iranian revolution in 1979 preceded by Britain, U.S. and oligarchy coup against democratically elected Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh in 1953.

Iran also faced imperialism imposed regional conflict lasting eight years from 1980 until 1988 in the protracted war with Iraq during then President Saddam Hussein.

Iran under theocratic order as the Islamic Republic post 1979 revolution has been challenged with sanctions to conform to western policy. The economic sanctions were tightened in the past decade denying medicines and essentials to citizens of the country. The sanctions related fatalities among children in 2011 and 2012 were constant without any respite.

There were no justifications on economic embargo against Iran and similarly the nations targeted by UNSC arbitrary decision while ignoring the states deserving sanctions for human rights violations and sponsoring terrorism.

The Shiite Iran’s regional competitors Wahhabi Saudi Dynasty and Judeo Israel in an effort to contain the rise of Iranian influence insist on intensifying trade restrictions through key allies Britain and United States in particular.

Iran has maintained that any nuclear programs would be for deterrence not in defiance of non-proliferation to which Iran is a signatory long before JCPOA despite being a non-nuclear state in contrast to regional nuclear state Israel opting out of non-proliferation treaty.

Nonetheless, the western demand on Iran at middle eastern allies Israel and Saudi Arabia’s behest to make Iran’s nuclear facility available for International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspection continued with UN monitoring and updates confirming Iran’s stagnant nuclear plan.

Unlike Israel, an established nuclear state yet to be confirmed and acknowledged as such in international domain in addition to uninhibited use of nuclear components in air strikes against civilian population in Gaza, Syria and Lebanon, Iran’s stranded nuclear capability was used as false pretext for western sanctions to strangle the oil rich Iran’s economy.

Iran’s persistence in the removal of illegal sanctions alongside repeat UN verifications of Iran’s nuclear site led to JCPOA.

The media implying pride playing a role in accepting or rejecting JCPOA is in fact applicable to those involved and especially United States unwillingness to lift inappropriate sanctions against Iran in the process resulting in JCPOA. Since the argument lost cause in the unsubstantiated Iran’s nuclear ambitions, JCPOA invented reason with conditional easing of sanctions against Iran.

The assurance that JCPOA has halted Iran’s nuclear motion is a political statement given the Islamic state commitment to non-nuclear activity evident in IAEA and UN reports.

Any accord would have statutory limits validating the treaty.

In the nuclear conversation, the nuclear disarmament across the spectrum regardless of stockpiles and capability beginning with United States, Russia, China, Britain, France and Israel leading the trend for other nuclear states India, Pakistan and the rest is a necessity to quell nuclear options frivolously used in the threat against anyone deemed an adversary.

The prolific nuclear arms race and testing among nuclear powers with the recent public pledge from the White House to allocate more funds in modernizing nuclear status is impetus to those perceived vulnerable in the wars for profitability.

United States self-contradictory position pose a credibility factor when sharing concerns over Iran or North Korea’s nuclear affairs. The former legacy in using nuclear arsenal on civilians and thereafter deploying nuclear material in warfare against Vietnam, Iraq, Syria and Yemen until now create the requirement to abolish nuclear weapons in possession of all.

The safeguarding of nuclear site and inventory is a high risk task relying on precision, competence and trustworthiness besides eroding nuclear powers national budget depriving urgent needs such as health care, infrastructure and steady job growth.

Likewise, India and Pakistan’s budget allocation to nuclear maintenance leaves overwhelming population in despair due to lack of basic facilities and many struggling to survive amid poverty and disease.

The irony is nuclear weapons are regarded potent for national security. Meanwhile civilians amongst poor and underprivileged backgrounds are dying from premature deaths in the absence of minimum standards and opportunity. The nuclear states misplaced priorities contributing to preventable mortality compared to the odds of nuclear attack and casualties arising from the event is hardly rational.

Obviously, the unnecessary and unwanted skirmishes from territorial disputes, regional and global dominance quest are driving forces behind nuclear armament.

The hype on Iran’s nuclear deal transferred to nuclear powers viz. United States and all nuclear and non-nuclear nations abandoning nuclear proliferation and aspirations is critical responsibility for the world.

The global consensus and preparation for safe disposal of nuclear ammunitions is no longer a choice but a mandatory requirement to guarantee humanity peaceful existence.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

Syria – Permanent Peace Ending Terrorism and International Coalition

August 15, 2017

Syria – Permanent Peace Ending Terrorism and International Coalition

By Padmini Arhant

Syria, once known as the cradle of civilization along with Iraq confronted with invasion and occupation through terrorism.

Syria, one of the targets in the Project for New American Century (PNAC) premised on hegemonic goals to destabilize nations in the Middle East and elsewhere has been defending itself in all fronts since 2011.

The secular country has been transformed into battle ground through terrorism. United States and allies in the west as well as Middle East sponsored terror groups supplied with funding, weapons cache and combat training including logistic aid from the beginning i.e. 2011 until now has produced massive casualties, millions of refugees, decimation of culture and heritage sites leaving the population at terror sponsors mercy.

Middle East has been exposed to political dominance and struggles throughout history. However, terrorism was introduced in 2011 to undermine citizens’ efforts for democratic process in the respective nations following Tunisian uprising in North Africa.

Syria sharing vulnerabilities with counterparts in the region due to economic resources and strategic location cornered for foreign and regional subjugation.

United States and allies backed so-called political opposition affiliated to terror networks based on moderates vs. extremists added insult to injury to the people in Syria. The peace talks on Syrian crises sabotaged time and time again by those colluding with terror units and their partners’ in destruction of a sovereign nation.

United States, Israel, Britain, France, EU, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar, Jordan role besides their de facto in Eastern Europe facilitating arms cargo to terror outfits created ISIL and ISIS evolving from al Qaeda into al Nusra Front deployed to achieve hegemony agenda.

The latest development in territorialized ceasefire reached among United States, Russia, Syria and different sides provides temporary relief for humanitarian aid.

Nonetheless, ending the conflict decisively is necessary for nation building allowing Syrians to live a normal life they have been unjustly deprived via foreign intervention.

Furthermore, the refugee status imposed upon them as a result could be addressed effectively in the safe return of Syrian refugees to homeland.

Syria is obligatory to defend the nation from international intrusion and purge terror from the soil. The lack of political will and credibility to abandon terror organizations surviving on western and middle eastern allies diverse support has led to loss of thousands of innocent lives with many children having become orphans, women and men into widowhood, families torn apart and yet there appears to be no serious commitment to conclude turmoil by the sources and catalysts.

The Superpower status expended in inflicting disasters on nations for strategic control at taxpayers’ expense neglecting myriad issues in the domestic front is a significant problem highlighting priorities for those behind such ambition.

Syrian citizens across the spectrum deserve respite from foreign authorized violence and immense atrocities committed against them thus far. The foreign indulgence regardless of regional or offshore representation is responsible for unspeakable crimes using terror as means to ruin an independent country.

There could be no deliberation or procrastination in respecting sovereignty of other nations and citizens inalienable rights to peacefully exist in their country as these are natural requirements in the world stated as free society.

United States and allies are constantly debating on enforcing restrictions on immigration to the extent of White House proposal to build a great wall to prevent entry by citizens from neighboring country.

Simultaneously U.S. and accomplices insisting on maintaining status quo in occupying foreign land with troops or terror factions like in Syria is the irony.

Syria has been subject to tremendous pain and misery for vested interests though Syria pose no threat whatsoever to United States and allies engaged in the carnage of the country.

These activities exerting aggression against nations regarded a fair game could no longer continue by any major or minor powers especially the nations declared democratic and champions of human rights in contrast to legacy and contemporary trend.

Accordingly, permanent ceasefire with withdrawal of all groups and foreign powers contingency – the illegitimate International Coalition in particular proved terror manifestation is critical for peaceful resolution of the prolonged conflict.

The Syrian defense force, leaderships and citizens concerted labor and participation in contending terror and international coalition offense is commendable and exemplify patriotism to defend the honor of Syria’s statehood.

The liberation of Syria from current skirmishes and terrorism is essential for global peace and security.

I convey my best wishes to Syria in prevailing over terror and hostility.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

Hegemony – Regime Change and Sanctions to Defend Offensive Actions

April 9, 2017

By Padmini Arhant

The latest demand to oust elected government and leadership in Syria pose the following questions.

The United States elections result in 2016 has received protests nationwide with disappointment from various parts of the world.

Does this mean the current administration and Presidency of Donald J Trump be removed and replaced with opposition choice?

In this instance, there is a difference between United States and Syria.  With United States, the disapproval of leadership is by the people within United States and the rest of the world.

Whereas with Syria, the call for such action is made from forces whose position is illegitimate given their involvement as sponsors of terrorism leading to massive casualties not only in Syria but also elsewhere like terror attacks in Moscow, Stockholm and Cairo.

The action to dismiss governments and leadership regarded adversary by hegemony is premised on vested interests and radicalism rather than humanitarian or democratic reason.

In case the latter were to be true then, United States, Britain and others would begin with their members in alliance such as Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, UAE whose human rights violations slight U.N. Security Council resolutions and world reproach.

The international outcry on Israel’s illegal settlement activity and Saudi Arabia’s intolerance towards women driving a car and local population desire for transformation from kingdom rule to democratic system is treated with disdain and remain defiant.

Similarly, Bahrain’s crackdown on peaceful demonstrations for democracy. Turkey’s violent strategy towards Turkish citizens’ stance on their government participation in promoting and proliferation of terror. Jordanians discontent with monarchy rule with name sake parliamentary system. These are few examples that deserves attention.

Why is Syria isolated despite Syrian election amid fighting war against terror sponsored by United States and alliance?

Syria is one of the targets for the architects and catalysts behind the Project for New American Century listing nations to be brought down regardless of repercussions.

Having invaded Iraq under false pretext causing immeasurable damage and irreversible loss of lives that continues until today, these agents of deaths and destruction would not relent to peaceful resolutions.

Any nations expressing concern over undemocratic and violent measures like unilateral air strikes without congressional approval in a democracy and relentless support to terror factions are in return rebuked and categorized as potential threats to hegemony.

In the attempt to defend indefensible and reprehensible developments, the sponsors of terror call for sanctions against nations urging to exercise due diligence and their requests to contain unnecessary tensions are threatened with economic sanctions.

Sanctions for hegemony is a tool to silence rational thoughts and logic for they are considered inconvenient and hindrance to hegemonic goals.

In fact, those advocating sanctions against well-meaning and constructive course ought to be sanctioned for their reckless policy especially due to their engagement in manufacturing terror endangering global peace and security.

Sanction is a primitive measure intended to punish the population of the respective nations more than anyone that eventually hurts the source in the current global economy with economic interdependence and trade activities having ripple effects in overall global markets performance.

Restricting any nation to trade resources based on political disagreements is egregious and counterproductive. The major economies opportunity to benefit from developing and emerging economies requirements and potentials to supplement products and services in the competitive environment is lost from sanctions.

Finally, democracy is relevant upon maintaining governance without external and extraneous influence undermining republic status.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

Syria – Peace Process with Immediate Withdrawal of Support to Terror Networks

April 9, 2017

By Padmini Arhant

Syrian warfare into seventh year and scores of lives lost with innocent children, women and men as victims of this unnecessary and unprovoked battle, there could be no more reasons to prolong bloodshed in the country.

The sponsors of terrorism must realize that pledging infinite assistance to terror factions proved counterproductive and should have never occurred to begin with especially when the whole operation is disguised as liberation of Syria via terrorism.

As a result, Syrians are forced to accept deaths and devastation with millions having become refugees in their homeland and unwelcome on foreign shores by sponsors of terror.

The idea of democratization of any nation whether it be Iraq earlier on or lately neighboring countries in the region is a deceptive strategy to subjugate nations creating turmoil and carnage as justification for regime change.

The tradition continues despite immense human suffering, humanitarian crisis, environment problems and major economic liability notwithstanding widespread terrorism.

Fueling terror to topple government ignoring ramifications is a reckless policy and reflects ill-conceived ideology with little or no concern for life in general.

Hegemony goals targeting vulnerable nations under false pretext is to be challenged considering the defiant trend in the absence of accountability. No economic or military power could sustain long term occupation and this fact is evidenced in history.

When something that do not belong to others is seized by force or deceit, the ownership never remains permanent with reversal of situation in the foreseeable future.

Syria is unfairly used as pawn by terror sponsors and current developments displaying superpower status and military capability at the expense of Syrian children, women and men of that nation escalates tension that could lead to undesirable scenario.

Amid global consensus on terrorism as primary threat in the modern age, nurturing terror in every aspect from funding and training to providing ammunitions pose serious credibility factor for western powers and their allies involved in the confrontation with Syria.

Terrorism cannot exist without finance and access to weapons that are made available directly and covertly to operatives in Syria.  Terminating life line and money trails along with arms delivery including communication means among terror outfits would paralyze terror.

Unfortunately, this measure is not acceptable to those behind terror sponsorship with their preference for air raids, bombing and shelling of the war ravaged country. Any sympathy from them thereafter is an insult to injury for the Syrian people.

Syrian war must end and purging terror from their homeland would be every nation’s responsibility. Syria cannot be deprived from this commitment.

As for any decisions on Syria’s political future, the same rule that exists for United States and allies should apply and that is no foreign interference.

Just like United States has objection to external influence or intervention in governance and elections prompting investigations on the alleged Russian involvement in 2016 polls that is considered violation of sovereignty and international law,

Similarly, Syria and for that matter any other nation worldwide share same rights in determining the respective political fate without outside meddling in their internal affair.

The concept of democracy is to respect and observe principles that governance by the people, for the people and of the people is the republic domain free from foreign powers’ discretion. The people of every nation are capable of making decisions concerning self and national interests barring foreign engagement and proxy representations that often diminish the prospects of better choice and outcome.

Syria is no different and Syrians ability to exercise political will were demonstrated in the recent elections despite the country combatting war against terror and the powerful forces instigating violence.

Any skepticism on Syrian election would be political and partisan even though they were monitored by UN authorized independent group unlike the elections in the so-called democracy where campaigns are financed by Super Pac funds and unlimited spending without full disclosure on sources to gain access to public office.

The world must come together in recognizing Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity calling for the ongoing sponsoring of terrorism to cease effective immediately and relieve the people of Syria from incessant destruction of lives and infrastructure.

Peace is possible with peaceful resolutions in acknowledgment of life and others’ rights to exist in the world.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

Hegemony – Sanctions to Prolong Unlawful Endeavors is Provocation with Serious Repercussions

Hegemony – Sanctions to Prolong Unlawful Endeavors is Provocation with Serious Repercussions

By Padmini Arhant

The latest development to punish nations for standing against those sponsoring terrorism will undoubtedly backfire on sources behind illegitimate measures such as sanctions.

As mentioned earlier sanctions are used as a weapon to continue with invasions under false pretexts regardless of civilian casualties and humanitarian crisis. The loss of innocent lives in U.S. air strikes and military assaults without congressional approval as well as international consensus and importantly prior to any investigations on allegations are serious violations in any context that merits accountability.

Furthermore, it represents dangerous elements exerting fire power while causing more pain and suffering for citizens of nations targeted with economic sanctions.

The unilateral dispositions are designed to provoke reactions for unnecessary conflicts that are best avoided and instead initiate peaceful negotiations to end war in Syria and purge terrorism with termination of weapons cache, funding and comprehensive support to terror networks deployed in Syria and across the region.

The unwillingness to prepare for unconditional peaceful talks would indicate sincerity or the lack thereof in protecting lives and allow peaceful existence for local population in the respective domain.

Besides clarity on terror sponsors remaining the existential threat to humanity and the world at largethe status quo is confirmation of entities reining control over political decisions undermining democracy and United States sovereignty that are evidently against United States and global interests considering U.S. interventions world over.

The reason for the urge to repeat Iraq episode in Syria is the absence of checks and balances for horrendous crimes against humanity in Iraq war not to mention the collusion in 9/11 attacks to advance premeditated agenda – the Project for New American Century deceptively designed to hurt America economically and politically compromising ethics and integrity in international affairs.

Moving forward, the policy promoting aggression and non-cooperation at the expense of lives and livelihoods could no longer be the norm and such tradition is contradictory to democratic values and constitutional law.

The irony is the Supreme Court nominations and appointments with conservativism in majority is maintained as the need to interpret United States constitution appropriately in citizens matter although the trend reflects otherwise with grave concerns in recent outcomes denying U.S. citizens’ individual rights.

Simultaneously, the disregard for constitution and democratic principles on issues related to warfare and adherence to international treaty are not recognized as relevant.

The current administration rational approach exercising restraint and due diligence would enable peaceful resolutions bearing in mind that power comes with responsibility and demands maturity to deal with diverse challenges and opportunities to make peace.

In earnest commitments towards peacethe gains are inevitable leading to rapprochement compared to disguised engagement resulting in loss of trust and credibility.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

Hegemony – Regime Change and Sanctions to Defend Offensive Actions

The international outcry on Israel’s illegal settlement activity and Saudi Arabia’s intolerance towards women driving a car and local population desire for transformation from kingdom rule to democratic system is treated with disdain in defiance.

World – Hegemony Goals and Media Coverage

By Padmini Arhant

There is no smoke without fire.

In the past week, President Donald Trump statement confirmed that the administration would pursue terrorists and not Syrian government.  Within a short period of that public comment, the story on the use of chemical weapons in Syria flashes worldwide on April 4th.

Then follows the usual condemnation and judgment calls from those whose trajectory reflects abuse of power, collusion on sanctions amounting to genocide and political tactics to win elections that outweighs the position they maintain in the outside world.

Prior to any investigation on this latest alleged chemical attack by Syrian government, the United States launches air strikes killing innocent children and adult civilians that is praised as an act of bravery apparently by most nations according to hegemony controlled news outlets and media worldwide.

The desperate attempt to defend indefensible aggression against Syrian citizens in the U.S. missile attacks on April 7th, is an irony considering the reason provided for this display was the emotions riding high at the sight of babies, women and men subject to inhumane tragedy.

In my view, loss of life is regrettable regardless of the cause.  That’s not how it is assessed with hegemony and agents as they classify casualties depending on who is involved in the action.

Hegemony and representatives calling out on Syrian government upon this happening while taking enormous pride in their killing of Syrian population with military action in the same breadth is something to wonder about the mindset of those reining control over world affairs.

Upon reviewing this so-called chemical arsenal episode. There are two possibilities leading to current chemical weapons instance. As per hegemony declaration, Syrian government was stripped of chemical and biological weapons by UN agency, Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OCPW) in 2014.

What needs to be noted is the demand to disarm Syrian government of chemical weapons were consistently made and carried out with no similar requirements on terror networks and sponsors in particular despite evidence showing terror outfits fingerprints on several accounts.

The sponsors are United States, Britain, France, Germany, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Jordan, UAE and Qatar with others assuming passive role in aiding and abetting terrorism.

Terror networks with comprehensive support from sponsors had access to manufacture chemical weapons and set up a lab that was targeted by the Syrian government.

Alternatively, the Syrian government and defense forces defending their nation from onslaught in all directions for the past six years since 2011 until now embarked on chemical weapons exposure among terrorists in Idlib province. In return they were reprimanded with terror sponsors military retaliation witnessed in President Donald Trump authorized U.S. air strike resulting in more civilian deaths and carnage.

Either way, hegemony policy for dominance and supremacy is clear. Having shifted from conventional warfare in Bush-Cheney era with troops on the ground tied to congressional approval which means curbing public protests to war, the strategy was technically modified by Obama-Clinton administration via terrorism bypassing electorate consent through Congress.

Furthermore, the development made possible with EU and middle eastern allies cooperation in transforming Arab Spring to Anti-Sovereignty mission conforming to long espoused agenda – the Project for New American Century (PNAC) undermining democratic values that America is projected to represent not to mention the misuse of American tax dollars and resources in endeavors against U.S. interests.

Hegemony explanation on the necessity to remove people elected Syrian government and leadership citing human rights violations and lack of democratic process while remaining lock step and barrel with regimes in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Turkey, Jordan and UAE declining change in the system is contradictory to professed doctrine on democracy.

These traits are no secrets as they were demonstrated in U.S. and Britain guided crackdown of political dissidents in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

United States and Israel logistic assistance to Saudi Arabia in the prolonged war in Yemen deprive the local population from independence and free choice.

The same would apply to Egypt in Tahrir Square in 2011. The downfall of U.S. and Israel ally former President Hosni Mubarak known for brutality and hardline governance was reset with United States and Israel’s intervention denying Egyptians the opportunity to liberty.

Likewise yet another representative – Turkish leadership Recep Tayyip Erdogan altering constitution to suit personal designation are some examples of hegemony orientation to democracy and human rights.

Hegemony at the helm with no tolerance to peace, freedom, individual rights, unity and sovereignty is the sign of precipitous decline.

Is this sustainable?

Conclusion of era is inevitable. Anything that is self-destructive leads to expedited ending.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

Syria –U.S. Unilateral Air Strike against Syria

By Padmini Arhant

U.S. Unilateral Air Strike against Syria might be welcome from corners that regards projection of military might as sign of strength especially when own human rights record speaks volume on abuse and atrocities committed whether that is complicity in 9/11 attacks on American soil in 2001, or ramming over people during peaceful assembly in Tiananmen Square in 1989.

Similarly, in 2003 in occupied Palestine, a brave young American citizen Rachel Corrie killed under a bull dozer by close ally Israel who is also U.S. tax dollars aid recipient.

Such violent actions glorified as defiance defines the character of those and the lack of inherent human value in them. These attributes cause the downfall sooner than later.

On the economic standpoint, the U.S. launched Tomahawk missiles costing tax payers $1.59 million a piece with 59 of them fired away and 36 wasted with 23 hitting the Syrian air field could hardly be prudence for Presidency with business background.

That means the actual tax payers in the U.S. economy had to foot the bill for $93.81million to showcase the American Presidency showmanship which is nothing more than capitulation to hawkish elements drumroll to attack causing more civilian casualties as sympathy towards people in Syria.  This move is anything but a smart strategy.

Interestingly, fiscal responsibility is eliminated in such endeavor as they are reserved for critical issues like health care and education reminding American citizens that United States is not a welfare nation but has no problem expending on few missiles to expand defense budget.

Wisdom is a gift that provides guidance on matter requiring diligence while folly commands impulsive reaction.

Syria – Chemical Weapons Accusations and Washington’s Military Option

By Padmini Arhant

The news reports on the recent incident in war torn Syria – Khan Sheikhhoun town in Idlib province leaving 70 people including 11 children dead is prompting military actions from the quarters that are denouncing the tragedy while preparing to inflict more deaths and damages against the people in Syria.

Syria has been the target in the regime change game by those never relenting to peace and peaceful resolutions since the onset of western and middle eastern allies sponsored terrorism in 2011 that continues until today with no respite from violence.

United States and allies deployed terror networks with comprehensive support ranging from funding, military training and weapons cache not barring chemical stockpiles by former President Barack Obama administration produced thousands of civilian fatalities in addition to creating refugee crisis with no end in sight.

The current situation calling for Syrian government removal echoing the sentiments of previous administration is indicative of premeditated strategy using the apparent chemical arsenal as the premise to contain Syria from purging terror on their soil.

Facts and figures matter over any predisposed allegations serving hegemony goals in the region.

Syria has been forced to pay a price with life and destiny destroyed by western powers and allies engaged terror outfits that has evolved from al Qaeda into various diverse factions committing heinous crimes against men, women and children of Syria.

The western and middle eastern allies’ unnecessary intervention in Syria expanded into Iraq, Lebanon and Libya transforming these nations as terror base in the so-called war on terror is testimony to Syrian civilian bloodshed and traumatic experience.

Syria could have been spared from terror infestation and military operations had the peace accord in 2012 and subsequent years allowed to prevail without unreasonable demands that clearly violated Syrian sovereignty and territorial integrity cherished by western powers and allies as exclusive rights in the respective domain.

Similar episode earlier with the U.S. and allies unsubstantiated claims against Syrian government in the purported use of chemical agents led to UN agency, Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) destruction of any biological and chemical storage in Syria’s possession in 2014. This activity was formally confirmed in the official declaration by the White House under ex-President Barack Obama, United Nations as well as U.S and international media.

On the contrary, the U.S. and allies sponsored terrorists use of chemical substances from sarin gas to different kinds of nerve agent against Syrian army and civilian residents besides poisoning wells and reservoirs causing casualties never even a subject of discussion let alone inquiry at the U.N. Security council or in the political discourse.

The western leaderships characterization of these events as war crimes could perhaps be credible upon recognition of own legacy in the past and present century comprising use of nuclear weapons in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, napalm in Vietnam and Cambodia, uranium in Falluja in Iraq war, White Phosphorous by Israel against citizens in Gaza, Palestine, chemical war planes in Libya and missiles with nuclear component against Syria in 2012-2013.

With no desire to terminate terror sponsorship in Syria and elsewhere, the hegemony quest for conquest persists with little or no concern for life in general not to mention health risks from environment pollution and contamination of air and water in contradiction to Paris climate treaty.

Initiatives on military action against Syria would further establish real motives to pursue invasion and annihilation as justification without any acknowledgment for being the cause of mayhem and humanitarian disaster.

Any unilateral decision would have serious repercussions due to complexities and conditions that could exacerbate global security and economy.

Those espousing violence and violent means to achieve their aspirations are evidently unwilling to learn from mistakes that has severe impact on the source and catalysts promoting ideas proved counterproductive.

The ill-conceived notion that empathy towards victims in Syria could only be expressed through air strikes and terrorism reflects sincerity or the lack thereof in ending human suffering once and for all not to mention the intellect seeking to douse fire with fire.

Instead the ban on weapons supply to terror forces and money trails to terror groups representing hegemony should be the first step that would guarantee any sign of peace to citizens in Syria and neighboring Iraq, Lebanon and the rest of the middle east.

Simultaneously Syrian government and defense personnel also required to exercise due diligence prior to launching air or ground assaults against terrorists with preemptive measures like evacuation of civilians from sensitive locations to prevent loss of innocent lives even though terror groups deliberately integrate in densely populated areas to increase civilian mortality.

As for any sanctions, the UN Security Council would be a legitimate body upon adopting and implementing same policy beginning with P5 + 1 members on human rights abuse and violations notwithstanding selective authorization of military action and trade embargo that has killed scores of citizens worldwide.

The irony is those who are guilty of crimes against humanity are protected with immunity and some awarded Nobel peace prize for prolonging status quo.

Syrians deserve to exist in peace in their homeland free from perpetual aggression by terror operatives and their sponsors holding Syria hostage in the misguided mission to proliferate terrorism and turmoil.

World bears responsibility to reject dominance and supremacy undermining lives and livelihood with liberty and justice challenged to preserve the self-granted privileges for the few in society.

Syrian citizens have endured enormous pain and equally demonstrated courage resisting unlawful intrusions under the guise of liberation by those fueling terror and hostility. The objectives to replace people elected government with terror offshoots clarifies the intention of those behind such proposal.

United States tax dollars are best expended in rebuilding the struggling economy and improving job growth promised in the election campaign rather than venturing into warfare against Syria that could inevitably be a costly affair not only for United States and allies but also for the entire world.

Syrians having been drawn into unprovoked warfare welcome dawn of peace not delivery of artillery and military might.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

The headlines on the outgoing administration of former President Barack Obama last minute approval to send Palestinians $221 M under review by current administration State Department.

Similarly, the new administration State Department is urged to scrutinize the executive action of ex-President Barack Obama allowing U.S. tax fund $38 billion dollars to Israel’s military aid over ten years beginning in middle of 2016 despite Israel’s contentious settlement activity routinely supported by President Barack Obama and then UN ambassador Samantha Power representing the former administration via veto in UNSC resolutions stalling any progress in the middle east peace process.

The ex-President Barack Obama’s exit strategy doing something that could have been done during the term in office and instead executing in a frenzy prior to departure alludes to image management. Wearing a different mask do not make the wearer any different in character confirming duplicity.

Among a flurry of late and last minute executive orders and positions such as United States abstinence in recent UNSC resolution against Tel Aviv authority’s decision to expand settlements in occupied Palestinian territory unfortunately depicts the departing administration’s focus on scorecard rather than sensitivity on the embattled issue fomented by generous U.S. military and financial aid to Israel – the tradition continued by the outgoing administration of ex-President Barack Obama and intact at present posing conflict on the motto of AMERICA FIRST.

More on this issue to follow in due course.

Syria – Conflict, Terror Evolution And UNSC Decision

November 21, 2015

By Padmini Arhant

Dear Citizens,

Syrian Conflict that began in March 2011 with western powers and allies in the Middle East sponsoring terrorism has claimed more than 250,000 innocent lives and forced millions of Syrians to leave their homeland as refugees facing worst humanitarian crises.

The war then spread to Iraq and impact Lebanon, Turkey and now become a global  terror.

The western powers and coalition manufactured terror to destabilize Syria has evolved into Daesh Takfiri network.

I present impromptu thoughts on this topic.  The article is a synopsis with solutions to end Syrian warfare and terror existence.

Two remedies are offered in this context and they are –

1. Western powers and allies withdrawal of support to terror operatives in Syria and Iraq.

2. The other requirement is complete and comprehensive ban on weapons supply to terror groups besides trade restriction with Daesh Takfiri and alike that would lead to terror networks disarmament.

Unwillingness and inaction in this regard would reveal the real enemies threatening humanity.

Instead the latest UNSC decision to wage war against Daesh Takfiri elements surviving on western powers and partners financing, ammunitions delivery, illegal trading of Syrian and Libyan oil in addition to ammunitions sales from them is repeat strategy of Iraq invasion in 2003 under false pretext.

Peace to all!
