India – Political Culture

Padmini Arhant

Politics as such do not have great reputation in the world. It is not politics fault for the problem is directly related to those in politics pledging allegiance to internal and external counterproductive ideology, philosophy, anti-humanity and anti-nature dealings.

Among many fields and occupations, politics that is supposed to be public service continues to attract disdain among citizens anywhere in the world.

The reason behind this status is corruption in politics, abuse of power against the same people i.e. electorate granting them mandate to govern the state or nation. Unfortunately, this mandate often and repeatedly misinterpreted by those assuming power who misuse the same much to own downfall.

Politics is also controlled by deep state with non-citizens reining absolute authority via proxies and puppets installed as head of the state. The dark forces as incognito power cover their base by betting on all horses facilitating the inevitable win in the formality called election.

Election is a process set up to deceive electorate in casting vote on empty promises with campaigners of various political parties exploiting average citizens for self and vested interests during their term in office. In Indian politics, the voters are presented with star power by issuing tickets to film actors, actresses and sports personalities to deflect public attention from real issues.

In fact, Indian economy is drained via corruption, tax evasion, embezzlement, illegal offshore accounts and black money hoarding by three major entities and they are – members in politics, celebrities and industrialists – Rajnithi, Celebrity, Udyogpathi persistently dominate leaving the overwhelming majority in abject poverty and generational struggle to make ends meet in their lives.

These three elements’ abuse in Indian society is the cause for ever increasing gap between the poor and filthy rich never content with the loot from the middle class and lower income being the actual tax payers in the economy. Indian politics is also severely dependent on caste based electoral gains serving as vote banks to various political factions in the absence of meaningful deliverable economic policy and social manifesto. Not to mention the political dynasty, communal politics playing a major role in seeking power. The politicians and those in favor of hierarchy and social injustice in society are vehemently opposed to eliminating casteism, the stigma on India amid fraudulently claiming progress since the so-called independence.

The vast number in Indian society are marginalized, isolated, discriminated and disenfranchised to suit upper echelons corrupt lifestyle and parasitic existence. Not surprisingly, the reference to rape is loosely made during election campaigns and otherwise considering the dominant members raping the economy besides violating ordinary folks that are routine activities in the country. The rape incidents following their leaders in politics, entertainment and other sectors are rampant not sparing infants in the out of control morbid sexual predatory instincts. The situation is further exacerbated by Indian film industry and their leading influential sources commercializing sex for profitability in arts and entertainment.

Women status among the weaker and vulnerable sections in Indian society is far from improvement as they are treated as second class citizens which is relatively better than those commonly known as Dalits or untouchables, gay, transgender, eunuchs and anyone affected by social prejudice including people with disabilities are all regarded beneath human category.

These sentiments are openly and candidly reflected in political speech without any shame or restraint. As recently as a day ago when Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi led BJP ruled northern state Uttar Pradesh’s legislative member – the female politician’s diatribe targeting political opponent enunciated rape in graphic details alongside describing their female political rival as worse than eunuch not worthy of respect in society clearly depict contemptuous political culture and those whom they represent in politics. This behavior is interestingly rewarded with ministerial posts by political party promoting indecency, insolence and intolerance in public domain.

The backwardness in political mindset is unequivocally posing impediments in India’s social economic development diminishing the prospects of much required transformation in society. Again, the political contenders vying for highest position in the land having tainted record such as abusing women whether in involvement of gang rape citing Rahul Gandhi or state sponsored murder of rape victim in 2012 by Sonia Gandhi, then Congress high command with opposition and other political members complicity and,

Last but not the least the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi abandonment of his spouse without providing any support to her are indicative of women’s plight in India. The background further emphasize that those who ignore responsibility towards next of kin are not poised to care for others let alone the nation they are elected to serve in the official designation.

Accordingly, women in urban and rural areas in particular are confronted with challenges in the mistreatment of women beginning from the political class down to other segments in the hostile environment.

Indian politics is predominantly premised on goon and gutter politics deploying unscrupulous tactics and nefarious means to gain political mileage and ultimately the mantle of power by unworthy and undeserving figures fostered to maintain status quo. Needless to say, meritocracy is a misnomer in the contentious class and caste oriented system.

The female politicians on their part have fair share of political baggage in corruption, hardline strategy using unemployed youths as buffer to curb political dissent through violent threats and crimes against disillusioned citizens in their respective states and province.

The political contestants with criminal charges emerging as representatives of Indian citizens and India, apparently the largest democracy remain the biggest irony.

India has a long way to go in terms of social acceptance and fair economic opportunity constrained by embedded corruption, nepotism, cronyism, dynastic politics and demonstrably the caste epidemic derailing any positive growth necessary in the real India comprising poor, working class, suppressed labor force, neglected farmers and socially ostracized demography.

Mass consciousness and action eradicating casteism, classism, sexism i.e. any form of divisive polarizing politics and social dogma contributing to treason and breach of public trust is the way forward to build a nation of optimism and reliable future for all.

Thank you.

Syria – U.S. Military Forces Complete Withdrawal

Syria – U.S. Military Forces Complete Withdrawal

Padmini Arhant

United States latest decision for complete withdrawal of military forces from Syria is welcome and long overdue.

ISIS was a creation through foreign intervention comprising United States, western allies and partners in the Middie East. The wanton crisis generated humungous problems for the sources behind this operation and of course the victims as well in a manner expected with any illegal invasion and occupation of sovereign nations in the world.

American tax dollars were generously wasted as they are in several war zones and aggression experienced in the past and witnessed at present.

The perception whether ISIS was defeated or still needs to be contained will always linger without acknowledgment on the fundamentals of ISIS origin, survival and continuous decimation of a small nation Syria and neighboring Iraq forced to bear the brunt of relentless strikes and use of artillery.

Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Afghanistan…are experimental grounds to test newly manufactured weapons potency under the guise of ISIS, Taliban and al Qaeda along with offshoots and fringe terror networks in these regions. Not to mention draining U.S. national treasury at taxpayers expense.

ISIS or for that matter any terror factions, militants, rebel forces anywhere stand no chance of emergence let alone sustainability in the absence of resources viz. weapons cache, funding and training provided by the same forces positioned as challengers in the bizarre confrontation.

In other words, you create an enemy with your support facilitating all means to them especially arms and ammunitions reaching them at ease besides financial aid to terror operatives combined with western intelligence training them to engage in indefinite warfare.

The humanitarian and economic liability under these conditions are beyond recovery. Needless to say the loss of innocent lives from substantial casualties and infrastructure damages inflicted on the nation, wiping rich civilizations never match the efforts to recuperate from permanent carnage.

Nonetheless, better late than never principle serve wisely in averting further disasters as learning lessons in life is preliminary step in avoiding repeat mistakes with no hope of turning point.

Not only Syria, the adjacent Iraq, Yemen and not too far away Afghanistan awaits similar decision to terminate military assaults and gross violence.

The only way to resolution on any disputes and disagreements is civil engagement premised on peaceful dialogue, diplomacy and mutually conducive environment building trust and integrity for successful outcome.

Thank you.

Sri Lanka – Political Crisis Resolution

Sri Lanka – Political Crisis Resolution

Padmini Arhant

Congratulations! To citizens in Sri Lanka, Members of Parliament, Supreme Court and the reinstated Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe for restoring democracy that was under siege triggering constitutional crisis in the country.

These problems are unnecessarily created by political forces within and outside for vested interests with little or no concern on serious ramifications that affect the nation collectively besides promoting regional instability.

The art of destruction and demolition of democracy, stability and peace is the norm for such interventionists as they aim for chaos leading to political, economic and social meltdown.

Nonetheless, Sri Lanka’s vigilant and rational members in respective institutions have come forward and thwarted such malevolent efforts protecting democracy that was under assault.

Sri Lanka with severe economic problems having been through civil war and political unrest investing power and resources in normalizing conditions for all citizens leaving none behind is the priority.

Furthermore, transcending discrimination, ethnic disenfranchisement and isolation providing equal opportunity to all would guarantee solidarity and strength that are the fundamentals to democratic system.

Any infiltration to stir disturbance would fail as proved in Sri Lanka’s recent political turmoil for credibility, integrity and legitimacy ultimately stand the test of time and tumult.

My best wishes to Sri Lanka for peace, stability and positive development benefiting all citizens in the island nation.

Thank you.

India – Political Parties Dissolution

India – Political Parties Dissolution

Padmini Arhant

India is at the cusp of political dissolution with major national parties and regional politics having exhausted means of survival considering their fair share of corruption scandals, criminal records though none are held accountable, ethnic violence and abuse of power during each political party term in office.

The political parties’ submission to global syndicate and subservience to colonial dictate reflected in status quo.

Indian political parties without exception have long been undermining sovereignty and republic rights evident in dynasty and communal politics exclusively for individual ambitions and personal interests using political platform.

Congress party founded in the Colonial era by colonizers continued beyond so-called independence of India with political dynasty adapting monarchy rule demonstrated in inheritance of power within one family viz. Nehru, Indira, Rajeev, Sonia, Priyanka Vadra, Rahul in that party. The trend soon became the norm among other political factions in the supposedly world’s largest democracy.

On the other hand, colonizers fostered RSS alongside Muslim League pre-independence to polarize society in the divide and conquer strategy engender divisive tactics to maintain power witnessed in RSS guided BJP and specifically Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sarkar or government.

The political parties’ pseudo position in declaring them secular is fallacious and nothing more than an election gimmick. Casteism is deeply rooted in politics besides targeting religion for political mileage in the otherwise seriously defunct governance by UPA earlier and NDA, BJP at present.

The political class diligently following their global masters’ playbook use proxies and false depictions to deceive population and score fictitious credits to boost image.

In the absence of necessary development among overwhelming majority remaining in abject poverty and significant percentage struggling to make ends meet, the political establishment confidence to regain and/or retain power explains political reality predominantly premised on continuing business as usual with institutionalized corruption eroding structure.

The rich, famous and powerful represented as industrialists, celebrities and political heir basically run the government on global syndicate shadow. These members enter politics to entirely benefit them amassing wealth lasting generations with the concept of contentment ominously missing from their ethos much to self-detriment and national travesty.

Political campaigns are funded from various sources given the free flowing and open investment of black money not barring counterfeit currency and incentives to poor voters buying votes for cash and kind, the tradition hardly deemed a crime.

Notwithstanding political threats, violence and authorized killings are casually carried out against viable independent candidates in the election. The overall political apparatus function and subscribe to mob rule and goon politics in quelling dissent on state of affairs.

The societal hierarchy with discrimination and deviation highlighting social economic disparity is fundamental in suppressing pervasive development. The poor becoming poorest and lower income as well as underprivileged, marginalized and social outcasts disenfranchised enormously favor upper echelons to exploit conditions under the pretext of empathy during elections that vanish soon after the polls resetting to political default.

Neither political parties have accepted responsibility to explosive scandals squandering Indian tax payers’ money with little or no concern for widespread impact on the middle class onwards to the rock bottom in the economic strata. Again, this pattern is symmetrical to global syndicate policy.

These traits are classic in the global clique approved form of governments not only in India but world over.

Indian political establishment leading candidates in the national election i.e. Rahul Gandhi from Congress and incumbent Prime Minister Narendra Modi and their regional coalitions have no mass appeal despite superficial projections to convince electorate ignoring public awareness on general experience and precipitous decline in government performance during UPA then and BJP alliance with NDA up until now.

The situation prompts citizens – those suffering en masse across the spectrum to come forward bidding farewell to irreversibly damaged Indian politics creating opportunity for effective, responsible, strong and able leaderships to lead and govern the complex nation with diverse aspirations amid chronic deficiency in checks and balances posing hindrance to overdue collective peace, progress and prosperity.

Indian voters must rise to the occasion and decisively express now on the preparedness in transforming India from decadent rule to efficient, ethical and transparent democratic system.

Thank you.

Media & Press – Representing Corrupt Political Regimes

Media & Press – Representing

Corrupt Political Regimes

Padmini Arhant

When media and press become presstitute in colluding with corrupt political regimes destroying lives of ordinary people, the system erodes leaving the population entirely at political class mercy.

The political regimes committing crimes are never even acknowledged as criminals in power. Instead they are glorified with fraudulent attributes and false credits insulting human intelligence.

TamilNadu’s former Chief Minister Jayalalitha was responsible for mandatory alcoholism ruining thousands of families and causing many casualties with authority in the Southern State of Tamil Nadu, India. Yet the spineless impotent news daily like Tamil Murasu in Singapore swear allegiance to criminal political establishments against ordinary citizens in Singapore and world over.

The film industry on their part is lock stock and barrel in that regard. Indian film industry much to self-destruction boasts misogyny viewing women as objects of voyeurism and lust. The sex-starved sadistic piranhas in film industry, politics and elsewhere obviously treat women in own family in that manner.  Not to mention condescendence and derogatory culture permeates in the medium besides news media promoting prejudice and reprehensible conduct without any shame or journalistic ethics.

The actions reflect precipitous decline in human values with global gangsta setting guidelines for crony contingency judiciously abiding kamikaze strategy.

Needless to say the outcome of such indulgence denying willful participants opportunity for belated regrets or remorse.

Fake Identity and Crony Politics

Padmini Arhant

The trend glorifying corrupt criminal and unscrupulous entities by falsely attributing others’ credits to them underestimate human intelligence much to self-destruction and deprecation. Submitting to global syndicate’s nefarious policy, servile Indian politics and Tamilnadu in particular survive on idolizing murderous political regimes having wreaked havoc during their term in office. They continue to deceive population by presenting their unpopular ex- leaders as noblest of the noble. These actions are condemnable and downright fraudulent in the so-called democracy.

The above video further elaborates on the contemporary criminal practice.

Sri Lanka Politics – Mahinda Rajapakse lost No-Confidence Motion

November 14, 2018

Sri Lanka Politics

Padmini Arhant

Sri Lanka former President Mahinda Rajapakse usurped to power as Prime Minister lost no-confidence motion in Sri Lankan Parliament.  The 225 members assembly voted in favor of no-confidence on Mahinda Rajapakse led minority government.  President Maitripala Sirisena unconstitutionally dissolved legislature with Presidential decree shutting down Parliament.  President Sirisena’s undemocratic actions prompted Supreme Court intervention to restore legislature.  The Parliament then convened no-confidence vote delivering Mahinda Rajapakse’s ouster from Prime Minister post.

President Maitripala Sirisena violated constitution amendment prohibiting President to remove incumbent Prime Minister and furthermore closing Parliament at self-discretion without prior disclosure to Parliament Speaker Karu Jayasuriya was a serious breach of Parliamentary procedure.  President Sirisena’s impulsive undemocratic decisions caused unnecessary political turmoil in Sri Lanka.  President Sirisena’s appointment of Mahinda Rajapakse and subsequent steps from the Sri Lankan President were not without external forces blessings from neighbors viz. China and India as well as global syndicate offshore.

President Maitripala Sirisena’s abuse of power since onset until now creates the requirement for the President to step down from office enabling the island nation much anticipated peace and stability.

Thank you.

India – Tall Order

Subversion of Democracy in Indian Sub-Continent

————————————————————————-

India – Tall Order

Padmini Arhant

Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government in New Delhi and BJP governments in regional states fad for statues of political and historical legends such as former Indian Home Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Sardar Vallabhai Patel and Maratha ruler Chatrapathi Sivaji in western states of India is quite a display at a time when the nation is tired of awaiting response from PM Modi on the controversial Rafale scandal and latest CBI fiasco.

More than the Statue of Unity, India is desperately in need of Government of Integrity which has been proved to be a tall order in the past decades and up until now.

The government of transparency and accountability would also be the preference by those entities to whom these monuments and memorials are built with political season in the offing.

Apparently, none are exempt from being used as pawns whether it be Lord Sri Ram or the rulers and political icons of India.

Such is the state of political affairs in the relentless efforts to deflect public attention expending tax payers money for gala events.

What might cross the minds of Sri Ram, Chatrapathi Sivaji and Sardar Vallabhai Patel when they are elevated to the sky?

Meanwhile those whom they deeply cared about i.e. the ordinary people and the poorest of the poor are economically minimized and socially marginalized prioritizing political pageantry.

Indian electorate deserve truth and facts on series of political debacles without having to approach the Supreme Court on all matter in a manner the judiciary substituting legislative branch and independent inquiry agency or committee.

What is the next target for government having neutralized the investigating agency CBI, monetary authority RBI and to a large extent the ECI – election commission of India?

Indeed, the tallest statues towering over monumental abuse of power beckon national attention.

Thank you.

Sri Lanka – Political Violence Escalating Crisis

October 28, 2018

Sri Lanka – Political Violence Escalating Crisis

Padmini Arhant

Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena actions beginning with removal of democratically elected Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and withdrawal of his security as well as privileges normally granted to any Prime Minister is acrimonious. Even worse is shutting down Parliament confirming gross misuse of authority and Presidential power.

President Sirisena and his appointee Mahinda Rajapaksa are subverting democracy and rejecting constitution to prove their resolve for personal agenda against national interest. The recent violence with one civilian casualty and several injured from President Sirisena orchestrated siege is reprehensible.

President Sirisena’s lack of respect for democratic values and procedure demonstrated in suspending Parliament without informing or consulting with Parliament Speaker, Karu Jayasuriya – a neutral entity presiding over Parliamentary functions is again a constitutional breach and utter disregard for electoral mandated Parliament assembly.

President Sirisena instructed mob surrounding the Petroleum Ministry premise and besiege of Petroleum Minister Arjuna Ranatunga, the cabinet member has prompted violence resulting in the preventable civilian death for which President Sirisena is responsible.

These latest developments from President Sirisena is a desperate strategy to install the controversial and most unpopular former President Mahinda Rajapaksa who do not have any political legitimacy to form a government.

In escalating rather than defusing tensions, President Maithripala Sirisena has jeopardized his own status disqualifying him to remain in his position as the authority to order any rule against elected members representing the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe’s cabinet or political party.

As such the illegal and unconstitutional dismissal of active ruling party chief Ranil Wickremesinghe by President Sirisena proved systemic abuse of Presidential discretion plunging the nation into unnecessary political turmoil.

Parliament session must be allowed immediately enabling the legislative body for confidence vote to establish majority rule leadership to govern the nation without any more incidents of undemocratic and violent means to obstruct this fundamental democratic process. President Sirisena has crossed limits and proceeding towards illegitimate appointment of ex-President Mahinda Rajapaksa facing numerous criminal charges and human rights violations besides inflicting severe economic damages on the island nation is a coup against Sri Lankan population and democracy.

Under these circumstances and at all times, national unity across the spectrum denouncing such decisions from political entities at the helm viz. President Sirisena and his once political opponent turned preferred appointee Mahinda Rajapaksa is critical to safeguard democracy and constitutional law.

Sri Lankan citizens across the island have endured immense suffering from decades of civil war and series of crises related to political chaos such as the ongoing event and natural disasters restraining economic and social progress urgently required to stabilize the nation.

Neither President Sirisena nor his appointee Mahinda Rajapaksa appear to be concerned about consequences from the unprecedented and abrupt actions exacerbating political and economic conditions in their country.

Furthermore, the ex-President and military commander Mahinda Rajapaksa seeking blessings from Buddhist temple monks and priests in the hope of gaining positive outcome favoring the negative and untoward situation is futile as divine interventions irrefutably deliver peaceful resolutions extending support to non-violent, democratic and just cause not otherwise to suit ill-fated aspirations.

Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena has subject himself to trial in subjugating constitution and undermining democracy.  The current problem needs to be addressed in reversing course with resumption of Parliament and conducting affairs to determine legitimate leadership and governing body.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe headed United National Party (UNP) and any coalition would be the ruling party considering majority representation in Parliament and any changes to this effect is to be brought in a democratic manner in Parliament or in the next free and fair election.

Sri Lankan citizenry, defense force, government institutions and judiciary solidarity to protect sanctity and integrity of democratic rule is crucial to avert President Maithripala Sirisena and his appointee Mahinda Rajapaksa created political upheaval.

Thank you.
